Downtown Parks Coming Soon

Center Park: Coming Spring of 2026, this centerpiece of Downtown Westminster will provide residents and visitors with a place to go for entertainment, recreation, and enjoyment. Concept plans for the park include open lawns, flexible programming spaces for events and gatherings; bench swings, shaded picnic and relaxation areas; a spray pad, a small, off-leash dog area; restrooms, landscaping, and beautiful lighting that will create a one-of-a-kind place in Westminster.

South Park & East Park: Designed with thoughtful lighting, lush landscaping, and plenty of spots to play or relax, these linear parks reflect Colorado’s love of nature. South Park and East Park will be linked by a pedestrian and bike crossing, making it easy to enjoy the greenery no matter where you are in the area. Together, these parks form the main green spaces of a pedestrian trail loop that surrounds the Downtown, improving the walking, running, and biking experience for both residents and visitors. Completion of the parks is to be determined.
