Summer Sounds with Shakedown Street
Summer Sounds at Aerostat Park concludes on September 19th with Shakedown Street – A Grateful Dead tribute group. One of the longest-running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street makes its home in the Rocky Mountain region. With a working repertoire of over two hundred songs, Shakedown Street draws equally from both early and modern Grateful Dead songs and weaves together unforgettable performances.
Drone Show and Battle of the Bands featuring the School of Rock
Visit Aerostat Park on Saturday, September 26th for Downtown Westminster’s Drone Show & Battle of the Bands, featuring talented performers from School of Rock Broomfield. Festivities kick off at 4:30 PM with live music, community fun, local vendors, food trucks, beer, and more. Then, at approximately 7:45 PM, look to the sky! The evening will culminate with a spectacular drone light show over Downtown Westminster.
Harvest & Handmade
Celebrate the arrival of fall at Harvest & Handmade on October 10th at South Park Lawn in front of Tap & Burger (8810 Westminster Blvd). Discover a variety of local makers, handcrafted goods, and unique finds.
Trunk or Treat
Join us for a spooktacular afternoon of family fun at the Eaton Street Parking Lot on October 24th for Trunk or Treat. Costumes, candy, and community fun make this a Halloween event you won’t want to miss.
Holiday Lighting Ceremony & Market
Kick off the holiday season on November 21st with an evening filled with cheer — from local craft and gift vendors to live performances, caroling, and a special appearance by Santa himself. Witness Downtown Westminster come alive with our Holiday Lighting Ceremony.
Noon Year’s Eve
Ring in the New Year early with your little ones on December 31st from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Central Square Plaza. Enjoy festive, family-friendly activities and entertainment.
